You Can Be in DL’s Next Music Video!!!
Happy New Year everyone! Hope the holidays were filled with much fun and family. Like so many of you, we’ve gotten right back to work on our upcoming album, Long Day’s Journey to the Middle. We’re preparing for a release later this spring, but in two weeks, you’ll have an opportunity to hear our first single and be a part of the music video!
We’re going to be shooting it on the morning and afternoon of Saturday, 1/24. All participants will be given a free copy of our new album upon its release. We’re looking for any and all people, but we’re particularly interested in finding 3-4 ladies interested in doing a dance number with us for the video (all inquiries, regardless of gender, will be considered for the dance number). For more information and to RSVP, go to the Facebook event page we’ve setup for the big day.
Thanks so much! Feel free to post any questions on the event page, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Happy Holidays and Merry Recording!
We hope you enjoyed your turkey, frenzy-inducing shopping deals and awkward conversations with family as much as we did. And we hope you have a great deal of fun doing it all over again this Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and/or Christmas.
In the period in between, we’re going to be busting our butts to make our next record. We recorded the drums and bass for all 11 songs on Sunday, and will be recording a great deal more over the next four weeks. Keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for picture, clips and more.
Have a wonderful holiday season — you’ll be hearing a lot from us in the new year!
Come Overthrow Pop With Us!
First of all, we want to express our deep gratitude for the hospitality and support you all gave us on our first tour. It was heartwarming, humbling, and truly life-affirming. The good times we had with all of you are we make this music in the first place.
We’ve got one last show in 2014, and it’s gonna be a doozie. We’re honored to be a part of Boston’s leg of the International Pop Overthrow Festival, a roaming showcase for up-and-coming acts put on by the illustrious David Bash. The festival runs 11/19-22 at O’Brien’s Pub in Allston, and we’re kicking off this celebration of local music at 8PM on 11/19 ($10, 21+). We’ll be giving our new material one last run through before we record it all next month. We’ll see you there!
